Sins Past
Romans 3:24-25 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
II Peter 1:4-9 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  9But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
There are some among you who think you have it all, you are without sin, there is no further growth, no more to receive. You are blind and walk as a reprobate not understanding God’s grace, justification and righteousness.
We have been purged from old sins that are past. We have by His Spirit power over our continuing walk. We have been delivered from the iniquity that drives sin, that bondage broken. Only by faith and walking in that faith an act of works, are you made perfect. See what Paul says: Philippians 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
This is Paul showing that even he had not already attained to the resurrection, the rapture. Yet some of you say I’m saved by grace there are no sins unto death, I have attained already, not so.
The gospel of Jesus is I can go directly to God 490 times a day with my fleshly weaknesses and humble myself for His forgiveness. This is what Jesus has done.
II Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. If you couldn’t commit iniquity, he wouldn’t be telling you to depart.
I John 5:16-21  16If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. 19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
I have heard folks say Oh, that’s to the Jews, that’s to Israel, you make assumptions and excuses to excuse your behavior or lack of understanding.

II Timothy 3:16-17 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
You cannot pick and chose out of the word to fit your denomination or personal belief if it conflicts with the word.
Isaiah 57:15 -21 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. 16For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
17For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.  18I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners. 19I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith Yahuweh; and I will heal him. 20But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. 21There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
This person was backsliding and God has not changed New Testament Old He judges things the same way. The difference between the old and new is that I have an advocate in heaven at the right side of the Father making intercession for me. Mary is not, not the intercessor, only Jesus and His Spirit, The High priest once a year was able to cleanse Israel of sin but their iniquity was still present. Now under the New covenant in His blood even that bondage is broken, but I must recognize it and chose to depart from it.
James 4:5-10 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?  6But he gives more grace. (Divine influence [not unmerited favor]}
Wherefore he saith, God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble. 7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Isaiah 57 is saying the exact same thing.
Zephaniah 2:3 3Seek ye Yahuweh, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of Yahuweh’s anger.
Those of you that have wrought His judgment, Sins unto death, For those of you who say there’s no mention of the pre-tribulation rapture, hid in His anger, is the first 3 ½ years, indignation.
Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
